My name is Eric Kofman, and I’m a PhD student in the Bioinformatics and Systems Biology (BISB) program at UCSD. Before moving to San Diego I was based in the Boston area, working as a computational biologist in the Van Allen lab at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and the Broad Institute. Prior to that, I spent a few years in the San Francisco Bay area as a full-stack software engineer at Fabric Genomics. I graduated from Stanford University in 2014, having majored in Computer Science with a focus on Biocomputation.
